Q. Do I need to be a member to book an Event with Old Hickory?

Q. Is The Bistro open to the Public?

A. Yes. Old Hickory golf course is private, but The Bistro is public.

Q. What are the hours of The Bistro?

A. Summer Hours: Monday – Closed Sunday – 11am to 8pm Tuesday thru Saturday – 11am to 9pm
Winter Hours: Monday – Closed Tuesday & Sunday – 11am to 7pm Wednesday thru Saturday – 11am to 9pm

Q. Does The Bistro allow for larger parties?

A. Yes. The Bistro can accommodate up to 25 people in the restaurant. Parties larger than 25 may require a banquet room. Please note, for parties larger than 8 or for separate tickets, there is an automatic gratuity applied to the check.

Q. Does The Bistro serve dinner specials?

A. Yes. Chef & his team creates a different lunch & dinner special every day. They also prepare soups fresh daily.

Golf Course

Q. What is the dress code on the course and/or practice facility?

A. Proper golf attire is required. No denim, tee-shirts or gym clothes please. Also, the dress code for the golf course applies to the Practice Facility as well.

Q. Can I bring a cooler on the course?

A. Old Hickory has a multitude of ways to keep you cool on hot days. The 19th Hole, the pool & the bar all have drinks for sale you to keep cool.

Q. Do you have clubs to rent?

A. Old Hickory has clubs and shoes to rent. Please let us know in advance of your needs and we will be happy to fill them.

Q. Do you have caddies?

A. While we do not have caddies, Old Hickory is an easy course to walk and enjoy the scenery.

Q. Do you have a rain-check policy?

A. If the golf course becomes unplayable due to lightning, rain or flooding, we will gladly give players a rain check for the unplayed golf.

Membership

Q. What does my Annual Service Charge cover?

A. Your service charge covers lockers, bag storage, tees, range balls and handicap service.

Q. Do I get a discount in the Golf Shop or at The Bistro?

A. Members get 10% off apparel, clubs and balls are at the Golf Discount pricing. Members also receive the same discount at any of the 3 areas Golf Discount stores. Members get 10% off in the restaurant.

Q. Who do I talk to about touring the clubhouse & course?

Q. What are the Golf Shop hours?

A. The Golf Shop and Practice Facility open 45 minutes before the first tee time. Weekday tee times begin at 8:00 AM and weekend tee times begin at 7:00 AM. The pro shop stays open until 7 PM and the range closes 45 minutes before dusk.

Q. What are the guest rates?

A. In season guest rates are $70Tuesday thru Thursday and $80 on Friday thru Sunday. Family guest rates are $55 and 9-hole guests are $45. All these rates include cart.

Q. Are you open on Mondays?

A. The golf course is normally closed on Mondays for maintenance. However if a Monday is a holiday, the course will be open on Monday and closed on Tuesday.

Q. How much are carts?

A. 9-Hole carts are $10 per rider, 18-hole carts are $20 per rider. Push carts are $9 for 18 holes.

Q. Do you give lessons or offer lesson packages?

A. We have a PGA Head Professional, a PGA Director of Instruction and a PGA Apprentice who all give lessons and lesson packages. Please call for prices and to make an appointment.

Q. Can I store my golf clubs at the club?

A. All members at Old Hickory may store their clubs. Just let us know and we’ll have your clubs ready for you when you arrive.

Q. Are there any course restrictions or times I cannot play?

A. We have no restrictions at Old Hickory. Normal courtesy of allowing faster players to play through is appreciated. We would ask our members to call in advance to avoid conflicts with our member functions like Couples Nine & Dine.

Q. Do you allow fivesomes?

A. Fivesomes are allowed at the discretion of the Golf Shop. Fivesomes are only permitted during the offseason months.

Q. Can I get a locker?

A. All members have access to lockers and the locker room. Members may request a day locker for their guests.
